Tour Itinerary

Day 1: AmmanArrival at Alia International Airport where you will be met and assisted by our representative then transferred to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

 

Day 2: Jersh- Ajlune

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide to visit Jersh, Ajlun and Umm Alqays.

Jersh is the second most visited site in Jordan after Petra. The city was conquered by General Pompey in the 6th century BC and came under the Roman rule. The golden era of the city was during the Roman time when the city was called Geresa. Its truly one of the best preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. You will then transfer to Ajlun which is located in north Jordan. Ajlun is the most Ecological and historical attraction in the Middle East. Both the strategic location and Ajlun castle (Qalat elrabad) as its known to Arabs, helped to defeat the Crusaders eight centuries ago. The citadel was built by Saladin's in 1184 AD to control the Iron mines of Ajlun as well as deter the Crusaders from invading Ajlun.

Day 3: Amman- Kings way-Madaba- M Nebo- Kerak Petra

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by your guide. Madaba, or the city of mosaic, is famous for the magnificent mosaics dated back to the Byzantian and Umayyad period, as well as the most famous mosaic dated back to the 6th century illustrating the map of the Holy Land and Jerusalem. The map covers the floor of the St George church. Close by is Mountain Nebo, best known as the memorial of Moses. It is the presumed site of the death and burial of the Prophet Moses. You will continue your journey till we reach Kerak, a historical fortified town, and castle. The castle was built 900m above sea level and lies inside the wall of the old city. You will proceed to Petra where you will check into your hotel.

Day 4: Petra - Amman

After breakfast, you will begin your visit to the spectacular city of Petra. You can never really prepare yourself for what you are going to see because your imagination will never reach to the beauty of the site. Petra, the Rose Red city, is the most famous site in Jordan. It is one of the wonders of the world and a UNICCO heritage listed site. The Nabateans carved the city from the sheer rock face. It is the setting for the Hollywood move Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade You will return back to Amman for overnight.

After your breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for your departure.
